VISION STATEMENT

"The vision for the newly renovated Interior Design Department at SVA is to create a professional interior design office atmosphere using the atelier, or workshop, as a model. There is nothing quite as beautiful as the true artisan’s or craftsman’s workshop, an unpretentious space made for the purpose of imagining and creating. What comes to mind is the timeless beauty of sustainable, simple materials, such as wood, paper and paint worn from use, care and love by passionate individuals fully engaged in their work.”
